Panos Makrinos, our team leader, is a shipping entrepreneur, who began his career right after graduating from high school, studying at the same time for his bachelor’s degree in Shipping.

He sealed his first S&P deal – a Handymax B/C belonging to A1 Greek Owners - as an employee in Cotzias Shipping back in 2008 (the oldest ship-broking house at that time), and then, he continued as a broker and then, Director in another local firm for over a decade, performing a substantial number of successful deals.

His career counts various sales of different vessel types (B/C, tankers, offshore and demolition vessels). These multiple deals and contracts mastered his legal & technical knowledge, structuring his repeated S&P/Chartering offshore industry clientele in a context of trust and honesty while enabling him to have a notable experience for several vessel types and contracts as well.

Coming from a traditional shipping family, one thing was certain, sea was about to become his life purpose.
